グループ名「togi(トーギ)」は、「to」砥や陶、「gi」技や芸、「ト ギ」四国の方言で「仲間」、などに由来しています。

Six professional and skilled potters who learned and inherited the tradition of Tobe ware have assembled.
We present special pottery created by our hands to the world.
We hope that our works will be used to decorate each moment of enriched time, stimulating time, and peaceful daily life.
The name of the group "togi [tóugí]" comes from Japanese. "to" is from 砥 (sharpen or grindstone) and 陶 (pottery), and "gi" is from 技 (technique) and 芸 (skill). Also “togi” means companion in the dialect of Shikoku region, Japan.
